The new compound takes DNA into the damaged cell nucleus

According to scientists, the new compound can put DNA into the cell nucleus with very high efficiency, more easily produced in series.

Scientists from the European Research Coordination Agency (EUREKA) have successfully studied new compounds that can carry DNA.

Gene therapy is the introduction of new genetic information into the damaged cell nucleus or patient's cell nucleus to reprogram cells, thereby helping to restore damaged cells.

Currently, the scientific community when conducting gene therapy often uses viruses , retroviruses , non-viruses and synthetic reagents as transmitters to put into genes. However, these methods are not effective and there are many risks.

Unlike the above methods, EUREKA scientists have studied a new compound that can put DNA into the cell nucleus with very high efficiency, more easily, mass production.

The release of this new compound is important to help scientists for the first time produce a new reagent that carries the DNA gene and drugs used in gene therapy.
