The parrot species is sympathetic and silly with
Panda, white rhino and mountain gorilla all have difficulty maintaining species through reproduction. However, no creature on Earth appears to be 'inferior' about it by kakapo.
According to DailyMail , the parrot is indifferent and hopeless in dating, pairing, and relates to the number of individuals across New Zealand, the only place they live, leaving only 124.
The kakapo parrot
In addition to being indifferent to sex, another deadly reason is that idly male parrots are unable to distinguish their partners from dangerous 'killer' animals.
And when faced with a threat, this parrot often forgets that they can't fly. They beat their wings in vain and always ended with falling face down.
Unfortunately for kakapo, the natural selection process is designed to make it difficult for the parrot to flourish. They usually live up to 90 years of age and are forced to limit their population, because their whole life, kakapo parrots eat only one kind of food, which is the fruit of rimu tree, which indicates fruit only once in four years.
According to biologists, things weren't really bad until foreign ships arrived at New Zealand and brought a bunch of animals in conflict with kakapo, including rats, opossum rats, cats and mink ecmin.
After several hundred years, the "invaders " had massacred the kakapo population. At 10 years ago, the total number of parrots was only 30. Efforts from conservation experts in stimulating kakapo reproduction have achieved certain success. But the main obstacle to kakapo is themselves.
Although this nearly 2kg parrot has a bright blue coat to mix itself into the grass on the ground, the truth is that it doesn't have any useful skills to defend. Their characteristics are very friendly and readily available near people. When suddenly in danger, they almost freeze and do not move for a step.
