The peanut and pepper machine of the farmers who finished grade 7
Although he has just finished Year 7 and has not been trained through any mechanical school, Mr. Phan Van Le (Ho Xa Town, Vinh Linh, Quang Tri) has in turn produced many very efficient machines, Helping farmers save time and cost after each harvest.
At the Vietnam International Technology and Equipment Market 2012 recently held in Hanoi, visitors were particularly impressed with the pepper plucking machine and the plucking machine introduced by Mr. Le.
Simple but effective
The cassava extraction machine of Mr. Phan Van Le.
He said that in the late 90s of the last century, pepper was the main industrial tree in Ho Xa commune. Seeing relatives come to harvest season to harvest pepper, plucking pepper by hand, he suddenly came up with the intention to build a machine to help people."In the past, when picking pepper, the whole family had to step on their feet together to get the pepper to fall out of the stalks. Many days of picking it up, they were tired and had to trample the whole night. every hour is only 50 kg . ", he recalls.
The days of beginning to tinker with the machine, he did not remember how many "materials" he had broken, bought and did not know how much to spend on the test machine. Machine malfunction, crushed but he told me to make it. By the time the machine was born, he was happy to tears. The machine has 3 main parts including engine (motor, flywheel, belt); rack (machine frame, push rail); twisted shaft, container trough, pepper filter.
The principle of operation of the machine is also very simple. The pepper is taken from the garden, poured into the feeding trough and flows down the rollers, where there is pressure to drain from the stem, the stalk is pushed out. According to calculations, the machine can pluck 1 ton of pepper / hour 20 times faster than manual threshing and also automatically divide large pepper seeds with small flat grains and stalks through 3 separate troughs. In particular, the machine weight is only about 50kg and moves easily thanks to the wheel and hand push system. In places where there is no electricity or when there is a power outage, the device still works well thanks to a replacement explosion.
The cassava extractor is the second invention of this creative farmer. After visiting relatives in Dakrong district, seeing how difficult it was for her relatives to pull cassava from the ground, the new idea flashed in his mind. Thinking of doing it, he returned to his hometown to draw ideas and scratch the invention regardless of day and night. After only one month, the cassava extractor was used. The machine weighs 20kg, is constructed as a special cart, wheel to easily move in many terrains. The main parts of the machine include the steering wheel and the ergonomically designed body, which are used to cut and pluck cassava. Mr. Le said: 'The outstanding feature of this machine is to extract cassava quickly, not picky terrain, easy to use, save energy . Especially, machine operating mechanically, without consuming electricity or gasoline' .
Do not know anything about "Intellectual Property"
Mr. Le's pepper threshing machine has become a trademark bought by many farmers not only in Quang Tri but in Quang Binh and Tay Nguyen regions because it is both cheap and effective."The pepper harvest season only lasts from April to June, but I have to do it all year to supply. For the last year, I have done more than a dozen machines , " Le said.
Referring to the registration of establishing intellectual property rights, Mr. Le honestly said: "My computer has patent registration, I am very busy. Some of you at the Department of Science and Technology I asked, I told you guys to help me but I don't know the procedure. "
Mr. Le also said that many people advised him to "hide the profession" for monopoly, but he said: "Honestly, the plucking machine is not too complicated, if they want to" fake "then just buy one I took it out and knew it all the time, so I let the workers learn the trade and taught them because thinking that many people could do the machine, she was happy, so no one was happy but . "
In addition to pepper plucking machine, cassava extractor, Mr. Le also makes grass cutting machines, roasting roasters . but not into commercial products because there is no stable market. Up to now, every machine he has made has been decided by experience, not by anyone who calculates a lot, but when he brought to the fair, he had to learn how to machine.
According to Mr. Nguyen Van Bay, Director of the Research and Training Center (Intellectual Property Department), if there are good initiatives, people have the right to register to establish IP rights. When investing in intellectual property will bring certain profits for individuals and businesses. Without registration of intellectual property rights, there will be risks such as loss of brand, loss of patent rights, loss of ownership of industrial designs, loss of design secrets and unfair competition from other competitors. In the marketplace . Intellectual property is focused, optimal exploitation can help individuals and businesses increase strength, empowerment, prestige, competitiveness, revenue, market share and profits. .
