Curiously, both plants are still growing normally. This ' double ' tree forms two separate floors.
Normally, mistletoe species are usually small and have short life cycles, living by absorbing nutrients from the host plant. Very few cases, a large tree lives right on top of another tree.
But this interesting phenomenon happened in Italy's Grana region. According to scientists, the reason that fruit trees can grow is because the inside of the willow tree is partly hollow, so that the roots of fruit trees can touch the ground.
This interesting setting seems to be good for both plants because they are still growing normally.
Previously, an ideological tree phenomenon also occurred in the Plitwitz nature reserve in Croatia and was documented in Cosmos in the 1960s.
