According to the International Business Times, the Shakespeare tomb at Holy Trinity Church in Stratford-on-Avon, England, is being investigated during the filming of Channel 4's upcoming documentary.

" We know Shakespeare's grave has traces of encroachment at the head of the body and rumors suggest that someone broke in and took away the writer's skull. I'm sure Shakespeare's skull is no longer in the Holy Trinity church. "Archaeologist Kevin Colls, the head of the research project, studied Shakespeare's grave.

Shakespeare's archaeological investigation may be taken out of the shallow burial grave by thieves . According to Colls, grave robbery is a problem in the 17th-18th century. " People want the skulls of celebrities to be able to analyze and consider what makes them a genius. I don't take it. Surprisingly if Shakespeare's body is in sight , "Colls said.

According to rumors, Shakespeare's skull was stolen from the Holy Trinity church in 1794. Shakespeare's corpse was probably buried with a shroud instead of being placed in a coffin nearly a meter deep, the researchers concluded later. when using ground-penetrating radar (GPR) technology to find out.
