The phenomenon of surface water in the Western Pacific region has warmed China, Japan and South Korea to the threat of massive tropical storms.

Scientists from Seoul National University (South Korea) studied basic data on tropical storms occurring in the Pacific Northwest region from 1977 to 2010.

The results show that during this time, sea surface temperatures in the Western Pacific region are much higher than in the central and Eastern Pacific regions.

This temperature difference appears at the same time as the changes of a strong wind system in the Pacific, also known as the Walker circulatory cycle .

This makes tropical storms formed in the Pacific Ocean tend to go along the coast of East Asian countries, from the South China Sea up before landing on China, Japan and Korea with strength. Strongest wind.

This change also means the formation of more storms in the North Sea.

Typhoons hitting southern China, Vietnam or Taiwan (China) formed very close to the shore and often reached the strongest speed when landing on land.

However, scientists also claim that further research is needed to determine the cause of the above temperature difference due to global warming or the process of self-change. Of course, it has been going on for decades.
