Scientists from Seoul National University (South Korea) studied basic data on tropical storms occurring in the Pacific Northwest region from 1977 to 2010.

This temperature difference appears at the same time as the changes of a strong wind system in the Pacific, also known as the Walker circulatory cycle .

This makes tropical storms formed in the Pacific Ocean tend to go along the coast of East Asian countries, from the South China Sea up before landing on China, Japan and Korea with strength. Strongest wind.

Typhoons hitting southern China, Vietnam or Taiwan (China) formed very close to the shore and often reached the strongest speed when landing on land.
