Plosky Tolbachik volcano, 3,085m high, located on Russia's Kamchatka peninsula, has been operating again after 36 years. Smoke and ash fly up can affect flights.

This volcano began to operate from the end of last week, erupting lava, haze from the sky. Volcanic experts fear, this eruption may affect regional flights, similar to the 2010 Eyjafjallajokull volcano in Iceland.

The most recent awakening of Tolbachik was in 1975, sending dust and smoke flying 13 kilometers away. Below is a picture of Tolbachik working again after 36 years of sleep:
