Interesting? This "creepy" frog frog is native to Namibia and South Africa. They spend most of the day hiding deep in the sand to cool and moisturize the body. Only when they are hungry can they find their way out of hiding to find bait (usually small insects).

This is one of the frogs in a critical state, listed in the IUCN Red List. The reason is because people have been continuously destroying their habitats by opening roads and exploiting diamonds.
