Transport aircraft contribute to super products 'Fast & Furious 7'

Universal's filmmakers have hired Lockheed C-130 Hercules transport planes to drop 5 cars from nearly 4,000 meters in the "Fast & Furious 7" super product that is being released.

When watching Fast & Furious 7, the audience saw a C-17 Globemaster III heavy transport plane dropping cars from the air.However, the actual scene was performed with a C-130 Hercules.

This is a large and very flexible transport model.It is capable of refueling helicopters while flying or transporting heavy military equipment to all over the world.This aircraft model can land on short and incomplete runways.

Filmmakers have dropped 5 cars from a height of 3,700 m.They use many cameras to capture the moment when cars leave the plane.

Some videographers use specialized video recording equipment on caps and dance with cars to get the most impressive camera angle.

Another helicopter flew around the C-130 to record the entire scene.

C-130 Hercules is the longest-used aircraft in US Air Force history.On April 7, 1955, the governor of Georgia beat a bottle of Chattahoochee River into the nose of the first C-130.Just 60 years later, Georgia's Nathan Deal made the same action with the MC-130J Super Hercules, the latest model of the C-130 transport vehicle of defense contractor Lockheed Martin.

'This is the 2,500th C-130 which is assembled at the factory. It will soon become an integral military aircraft of the US Air Force ', Deal Governor said.
