Tropical depression at level 8 formed in the South China Sea

Early this morning (November 17), the low pressure area in Truong Sa archipelago has been strengthened into a tropical depression.

At 04 o'clock , the position of the tropical depression is about 10.0 degrees North; 113.5 degrees east longitude, about 240km from Spratly island to the East Northeast. The strongest wind in the area is near the center of strong tropical depression at level 6 (40-50km / hour), level 8 shock. The strong level 6 wind radius, level 8 shock is about 50km from the tropical depression.

It is forecasted that in the next 24 hours , tropical depressions will move west-northwest, each hour is 10-15 km. At 04:00 on November 18, the position of tropical depression is about 10.4 degrees Vi Bac; 111.8 degrees Kinh Dong, about 140 km from Truong Sa island to the North. The strongest wind in the region is near the center of strong tropical depression at level 6-7 (40-60km / hour), level 9. At 04:00 on November 19, the position of tropical depression is about 10.6 degrees North latitude; 109.2 degrees Kinh Dong, right on the waters of the provinces from Ninh Thuan to Ba Ria-Vung Tau.
