Turkey's controversial photo: What is the white color under the camel's feet?

You have to be very observant to find the answer.

This photo went viral after being posted on Turkish social networks a long time ago. The person who posted the photo is George Steinmetz - an American photographer.

The photo caused "netizens" in Turkey to talk about it because it was not clear what the white spot under the camel's feet was . Some people think it's a product of photoshop, others think the author cut it together to increase interaction.

In fact, this is a product taken 100% with a camera without any editing or cutting.

According to the photo's author, this person took it in 2004 while flying on a paraglider on a journey to explore the "world's largest sand sea" Empty Quarter from Saudi Arabia to Oman and then to Yemen.

And the answer is: Those white spots are real camels. And the camel-shaped black color is their own shadow. 

The reason why, at a glance, we easily confuse these two images is because the photo was taken from above.
