Two-headed turtles also displayed fortune

Following the famous "prophet" Paul octopus, a rare 2-headed turtle also learned to predict the results of the World Ice Hockey Championship recently in Slovakia.

According to Reuters news agency , due to a genetic defect, an African-like turtle was born in the northern Slovak town of Zilina in March with two heads and five legs. This particular turtle is named Magdalena .

Under the leadership of owner Roman Gresak, Magdalena also has the ambition to replicate the success and reputation of the late octopus Paul - the "prophet" who correctly predicted the results of eight consecutive games of the Championship. World football took place in South Africa last year.

Magdalena's first attempt to match the betting companies when predicting the host Slovakia will defeat the Slovenia away team in the opening game of the World Ice Hockey Championship 2011. The first two turtles have made a choice about Win teams when moving around a miniature ice hockey stadium model.

True to Magdalena's prediction, Slovakia won an overwhelming victory over Slovenia with a score of 3 - 1 on April 30 in the extreme cheering of the host country.

However, Magdalena's boss confirmed that the two-headed turtle will not predict the outcome of every match in the World Ice Hockey Championship, but will only select certain matches. However, after the first accurate prophetic effort, there was no further information about whether Magdalena was capable of predicting any more matches or whether those predictions were correct.

Meanwhile, six months after Paul 'sacked octopus' in late October 2010, a Ukrainian aquarium named Alushta suddenly introduced a 'young talent' to replace Paul's predecessor. . It is an octopus named Pavlik. Pavlik's impressive debut has been shown in the recent series of Champions League quarter-finals.

With the same method as Paul, Pavlik was also chosen to choose the color of one of Barcelona or Shakhtar Donetsk to predict the result. Eventually Pavlik chose the Barca flag instead of selecting Shakhtar's flag, a Ukrainian team. The results are clear: Barca won 5-1. The director of Alushta Ocean Institute hopes Pavlik octopus will be the successor to the octopus Paul predicting the upcoming Euro 2012 matches.
