Unlock the computer with brain waves
Mind-triggered devices may not be future fictions. Recently, Spanish scientists have successfully created a system that allows users to unlock the computer by thought, with a precision of 94% .

The system is a product realized from the brainchild of researcher Blair Armstrong of the Center for Cognitive, Brain and Language Studies in the Basque region of southern Spain.

Mr. Armstrong discovers that each person will have a different mindset when referring to a particular word. This depends on memories and memories they have experienced, usually they will not change over time.
Based on this rule, the researcher attached a pair of electrodes to the scalp of 45 participants. Then he asked them to read a list of 75 words made up of letters like the FBI or DVD.
The human brain has billions of neurons . At every thought, the brain emits different electrical impulses that reflect that thought. Signals are generated through the chemical reaction between the neurons.
The electrode device can detect and record this signal.
A software connection with the device will analyze brain waves to select a specific signal for each person. This technology has an accuracy of up to 94%. If put into the application, users can unlock the device with only a few words.
This system will replace modern security technology , which will increase the level of security and allow users to perform faster operations, Armstrong said.
