Use gloves to detect breast cancer early

You hardly feel anything when you touch a thin piece of paper on the table. But if you touch it through the BSE breast screening gloves, your fingertips will see very clearly.

Gloves for breast cancer detection have been widely used in the world for a long time and recently imported into Vietnam by Health and Medlife (Hanoi). It is a thin glove made of non-toxic poly urethane material, the contact with the inside of the hand has a layer of liquid essential oil, which increases the sensitivity of the finger when touching an object.

For example, with a thin paper pimple placed on a smooth tabletop, when you close your eyes and directly touch it, you will not feel its ridge in comparison to the table. However, when wearing BSE gloves, the stiffness of paper acne becomes very obvious. Similarly, if you use this glove to check your chest regularly, small tumors will be detected early, when you cannot feel it if you only check it with your bare hands.

Early detection is of paramount importance in the treatment of breast cancer. To do that, doctors recommend that women over the age of 20 check their breasts every month.

How to use gloves

You only use BSE gloves to check your breasts after you have bathed and wipe them dry.

- Standing in front of the mirror, two hands down the person. Look at the chest for any changes in shape, color, contour, nipple or size. Repeat this step in your two-handed pose to the back of your neck.

- Put your hands on your hips, look closely at the chest from different angles to see if there is any change, then put one hand on the nape, the other hand twist and squeeze the nipple to see if there is any sign of fluid oozing or bleeding .

- Wear gloves (use the left hand to check the right breast and vice versa). Use the force of the hand to rotate around the breast, squeeze the entire breast tissue, check from the top down and vice versa. You need to check the nipple, press down hard and turn slightly. Extend the test arm toward the armpit, slowly press and turn slightly. Change to the other hand and do the same.

If you have lumps, lumps, lymph nodes in your breasts or around, you need to go to the hospital to have your doctor examine and do the necessary tests.

The price of a set of BSE gloves is VND 350,000, including a manual DVD. The shelf life of this glove is 2 years. To preserve BSE gloves, keep it clean, avoid sunlight and high temperatures, preferably 25 degrees C.
