Video: American super-fast shells

Described as "Star Wars technology", such super weapons once existed only in the science fiction world for centuries. However, it is about to become a reality thanks to successful land trials and an experiment on a US warship scheduled to take place over the next two years.

Using electromagnetic energy, the new gun could fire a 10kg shell with a speed of more than 8,690km / h over a distance of over 160km. The force and accuracy of the shell fired extremely high, enough to penetrate three layers of concrete walls or 16.5cm thick steel plates.
