A Japanese company launched an automatic shopping cart design called Regi-Robo to help shoppers avoid hassles when queuing up at the supermarket.

This shopping cart makes shopping easier. The sensors are installed in the basket, the device will sense labels affixed on food and track the items you buy.
When you finish shopping, it will add up the total bill for you. After you pay, the basket bottom opens, the food falls neatly into the bag so you're ready to take it.
