Video clip: Full moon
On August 28, the second total eclipse occurred in 2007. The moon was completely obscured at about 10:37 GMT (17:37 Hanoi time), corresponding to the early evening at Sydney, Australia and a few hours before sunrise in Los Angeles, USA and Vancouver, Canada.
Places that can witness the fullest lunar eclipse clearly from the beginning to the end are the Pacific belt, including the west coast of the United States and Canada, as well as in Alaska, Hawaii, New Zealand and eastern Australia. The moon is completely obscured in 90 minutes.
