The software has been developed to help people with disabilities control the computer mouse using only the eyes.
From the beginning, Dau Ba Kien was passionate about computing. Outside of school, he often fiddles with computers and makes models to satisfy his creative passion.
Mr. Dau Ba Can, Kien's father, said that since he was in grade 6 until now, Kien knew how to study computer software, but Kien's self-study of methods of using technology for people with disabilities made him very unstable. doubt.

"Knowing that there is a creative contest for children and teenagers, they have asked for their family's permission. After 10 days of searching, self-studying materials, I have successfully written KF Mouse software - a technology solution. For people with disabilities, " Mr. Cẩn said.

Yesterday afternoon, when I learned that Dau Ba Kien had a high achievement at the international youth creativity contest, the People's Committee of Binh Phuoc province invited Kien and his family and representatives of Nguyen Truong To secondary school to organize. award ceremony, commemorating timely the achievements of this young creator.
At the ceremony, Dau Ba Kien said: "My idea comes from seeing that people with disabilities cannot use computers, nor can they integrate with the information technology community, so I devised this software to contribute a small part to helping people ".
In order to get the 'KF Mouse Software - Technology Solutions for People with Disabilities' , Kien spent more than a month searching for documents and many times failed. Because research materials for this software are very limited, while Kien has to translate foreign materials on his own. After having all the documents, Kien finished the product in a week.
Currently, Kien is continuing to research to improve his products further, to be able to put applications into practice. With his creativity, Kien helped people with disabilities without hands to use computers at a simple level.
IEYI 9th took place from 9-11 May in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, with the participation of 47 delegations from 13 countries around the world. Vietnam has 9 projects participating and all have won prizes, including 7 gold prizes and 2 silver prizes.
