Vladimir city is one of the most popular tourist cities in Russia. Here together with the buildings, modern trade centers are architectural masterpieces that are the pride of the whole of Russia. Among them, the most special is the Vladimir Memorial works which have been recognized by Unesco as world cultural heritage.

Vladimir city was founded in 1108 by Prince Vladimir Monomach , and since the beginning of the city, the city has soon become an important place with special religious relics, such as Uspenskii Church; Church of Our Lady; Pokrova Church; Golden Gate .

The first work to mention is the Church of Our Lady built in 1158. The person leading the construction is Prince Prince Monomach's son. The church was built with a unified structure consisting of a dome built on six axles with dimensions of 17.7 meters wide; 22 meters long; 32.3 meters high. The façade is divided into five sections with sophisticated sculptures. Inside the church is decorated with many high-quality frescoes but unfortunately these frescoes were mostly destroyed by the Mongols in the 12th century. By 1408 these frescoes was restored and replaced by famous artist Andrei Rublev and Dniil Chernii.

The Golden Gate - Golden Gate was built in 1164. Initially the Golden Gate was built for the purpose of defense but not long after that it became a decoration of nature.
