The eel weighs 800g, is 0.9m long and is very healthy and is being reared by Mr. Chi in a glass cage.

Or believe farmers have strange yellow eels and are said to be rare, many curious people come to see.

According to Chi, some people in Can Tho, Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi contacted to buy eels for VND50 million."This morning, someone paid 80 million but I did not want to sell. I have been practicing eel for decades but this is the first time I caught the yellow eel like this," Chi said.

Ecologists believe that the yellow eel is a branch of the Eel family, not a strange species in the world. Because it is rare, people rarely meet.

Recently, some people in Ca Mau, Hau Giang and Long An have caught yellow eels from a few to over one kilogram. At the end of last year, farmers in Ca Mau province caught this type of eel, weighing nearly 1.3kg but only bought by traders for 1.5 million VND.
