Egyptian Minister Mamdouh el-Damaty said the above two tombs belong to "Ankh Ti" and "Sabi" - two priests of Pharaoh Pepi II (in 2,240-2,150 BC) during the Sixth Dynasty.

According to Damaty, archaeologists have been inside the burial chamber and found scattered remains - a sign that these two tombs were once searched by thieves .

The archaeological team leader of IFAO, Dr. Vassil Dobrev pointed out that in both of the above relics there are many murals still very well preserved, describing the rituals of worshiping ancient Egyptian gods.

The upper part of the two tombs was built with mud bricks . Meanwhile, two burial rooms were built of white limestone, found at a depth of 6m and 12m below the ground.

The head of the Ancient Egyptian Department of the Ancient Antiquities Ministry, Dr. Yousef Khalifa, confirmed that despite being sabotaged by the thief, both graves still have a number of burial items , including plaster pots, colored stone and pottery.

Giza Kamal Wahid's chief archaeologists said the burial room of the "Ankh Ti" priest was decorated with many scenes showing worship rituals in ancient Egypt, including sacrifices like meat, birds, bread, vegetables, roses, milk, beer . /.
