Instead of having multiple injections for each type of disease for children, Pentaxim vaccine can prevent 5 diseases: diphtheria, tetanus, whooping cough and polio.
This vaccine can also be used for 2-month-old children to prevent a combination of infections such as meningitis, blood infection, and tissue cell inflammation .
Children will receive the first 3 doses from 2 months of age, each dose 1-2 months apart.Repeated injections are administered after 1 year.
Injection price is over VND 400,000 / nose.This vaccine is available at vaccination centers and centers throughout the country.
Pentaxim vaccine is manufactured by Sanofi Pasteur.
