Announced 14 H1N1 influenza laboratories
14 laboratories across the country have just been recognized by the Ministry of Health to be eligible to diagnose and identify influenza A (H1N1) virus, as follows:
Northern area:
- Laboratory Department of Central Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology;
- Laboratory of National Institute of infectious and tropical diseases;
- Central Hospital for Children Hospital;
- Laboratory of Preventive Medicine Center of Thai Binh province;
- Laboratory of Preventive Medicine Center of Thanh Hoa province;
- Laboratory of Thai Binh Medical University;
- Hospital Laboratory 198 Ministry of Public Security.
Central region and Central Highlands:
- Laboratory of National Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology;
- Laboratory of Nha Trang Pasteur Institute;
- Laboratory of Hue Central General Hospital.
Southern region:
- Laboratory Pasteur Institute in Ho Chi Minh City
- Laboratory of HCMC Tropical Hospital
- Laboratory of Children's Hospital 1;
- Children's Hospital Laboratory 2.
Other laboratories have a complete PCR system to be able to diagnose the influenza A (H1N1) virus.
