According to CNBC, an unnamed source said the project was implemented according to the idea of Apple founder Steve Jobs, through optical sensors used on technology devices such as smart watches to measure changes. Different physiological changes such as blood sugar index.
This technique allows diabetic patients to continuously monitor blood sugar, an effective alternative to the traditional "finger injection" method to monitor blood sugar.
CNBC confirmed that this project has become a reality after more than 5 years of implementation, since Steve Jobs died in 2011. Apple is conducting a feasibility test of this technique with a team of about 30 experts at a center near Apple headquarters in Cupertino, California.
