Babies start learning language at 10 months of age

According to a study by Temple University in Pennsylvania (USA), babies start learning languages ​​at 10 months of age and mostly remember the names of things they care about most.

Previous studies have confirmed that 10-month-old babies understand about 10 words. Now, researchers at Temple University's lab continue to explore how babies learn languages.

Conducting the trial at 75 babies, the researchers noted that babies were able to remember two new words within five minutes after five times the adult names the objects. Babies often associate a new word with the object that draws the most attention in the baby, not in the object that the person talks to.
