Blood donated very quickly

Scientists at Duke Medical Center in North Carolina have found that nitrous oxide in red blood cells is an important key to oxygen transfer to tissues. However, this gas decomposes quickly as soon as the red blood cells are removed from the human body, and causes the majority of blood in the stock to become poor quality.
"Without nitrous oxide, the tissue will not be able to receive oxygen," said Dr. Jonathan Stamler, author of the report. However, he also said that if this gas is restored, stored blood can regain its capacity.
"Over the years, the medical community has struggled with the issue of donated blood becoming worse than expected , " Stamler said.
He embarked on this topic after studies showed that blood transfusion patients had higher rates of heart attacks, heart attacks, strokes and even death. And although researchers understand that blood storage is no longer the same as blood in the body, so far, that difference is still a mystery.
