Build solar power plant in HCMC

In the morning, First Solar of the US started construction of a solar panel manufacturing plant to generate electricity in Cu Chi District, Ho Chi Minh City. The project has an investment of 300 million USD.

Solar panels manufactured by First Solar have advanced semiconductor technology and provide comprehensive photovoltaic solutions. When completed, this factory will have 4 production lines, attracting about 600 workers.

First Solar has photovoltaic plants in the US, Malaysia, Germany and France. Currently, the total output of the company is 1,400 MW. The company wants to double power output to more than 2,700 MW next year and the project to build two new plants is part of the plan.
