A British fishing enthusiast named John Whitaker has caught a giant catfish weighing 83.91Kg on Spain's Ebro River.

John Whitaker said, he and two friends discovered this catfish on the river bank before catching them.
The Ebro river in Zaragoza flows through Spain's fifth largest city known for its giant catfish, which is very popular with fishermen.
Earlier, in 2010 a British woman caught a white catfish weighing 87.09kg, according to reports that the freshwater fish has the largest weight in the world weighs 293.02kg.
