Broad Group, a Chinese construction company, is a very special construction company, specializing in building high-rise buildings with record short periods with a very unique method. Previously, Broad Group once built a 30-storey hotel in just 360 hours.
Unique building method with record short time
Just recently, the company continued to complete another high-rise project, with a 57-storey office building in record time of just 19 days . One of the architects of Broad Group was Mr. Xian Min Zhang who recorded the time-lapse image of the construction of this building over a period of 19 days.
Broad Group used the building blocks of the building blocks in its production facilities, and then moved them to the building location that needed to be built and assembled like a lego set.
The building that the company has built has a total area of 180,000 square meters, more than 800 apartments and offices for 4,000 employees. The use of this block method also reduces the amount of concrete to be used a lot . Besides, in the construction process also does not create too much dust causing environmental pollution.
According to architect Xian Min Zhang, the company is planning to continue building a 220-storey building with this special method. This will be a huge challenge because at such a height it will be very difficult for cranes to assemble modular blocks correctly.
