The governments of China and Singapore work together financially and technically to build an eco-city. According to the city plan, there will be 350,000 people with comprehensive infrastructure such as schools, hospitals and commercial areas.

Many foreign companies, such as Hitachi (Japan) and Philips (Netherlands), will provide clean technology for the city. The buildings will have soundproof walls and windows with the ability to receive more light to save electricity.

Nearly two-thirds of people's waste will be recycled. 20% of electricity in the city will be produced from endless resources and does not pollute the environment such as wind and sunlight.

After being treated, the wastewater will flow along the channels to enter a lake. People can get water from the lake for use in everyday life.

High-ranking Chinese officials hope ecological cities will help them solve the situation of urban population rising too fast. To meet the needs of city residents, China must invest up to $ 3.6 trillion in infrastructure, according to Chinese television.
