Rokid smart glass model works on the principle of thermal imaging . Through this model, users can detect cases of high fever.
During the test, Chinese engineers confirmed such glasses could measure the temperature of 200 people in just 2 minutes.
At the present time of strict quarantine with many cases showing no symptoms, this glass sample does not seem too necessary. But they can be used later. Scientists argue that if the early control measures are lifted, the disease could break out. Therefore, monitoring the health of the people is very important.
In China, officials have put smart glasses on campus after students return to school, as well as in parks and other public places.
Rokid said it is planning to supply glasses to American hospitals, law enforcement and private companies.
