China: Watch out for Armillarisin
A total of 11 patients were affected by the use of the drug drug Armillarisin of the No. 3 Qi Qiqin Pharmaceutical Company (designated to treat hepatitis), of which four died, six others in an emergency.
According to Professor Cao Chi Luong - Head of the infectious department of the Third Hospital of Zhongshan University (Guangdong Province), on April 29 and April 30, the symptoms of hepatitis in the department suddenly appeared. In general, severe kidney failure causes doctors to be alert.
Through examination, Armillarisin was found to treat them made from unknown substances. Currently, the National Drug Administration of China has issued an urgent notice asking to stop using this drug nationwide.
