"The car is designed with 4 seats but can carry 5 people, suitable for small families. When the car goes in the city, it can reach a speed of 50km / h. This is the first test version, so I designed it to go inside. When fully charged, the car can go 160km.

If the car is out of battery, it can be recharged within 10-12 hours. But according to my recommendation, you should not let the car run out of battery to start charging. Because of that, the quality of the battery will not be guaranteed and not durable", Mr. Tam added.

The car door is designed in the form of a folding wing when opened, it is lifted straight up thanks to the hydraulic system.

According to the engineer, before completing this model car, he experienced many unsuccessful times, making him somewhat discouraged, intending to give up. However, with the desire to create an environmentally friendly product for Vietnamese people, he tried to perfect the product.

The engineer expects that in the future, if there is a production investor, he will produce more advanced versions, with a longer travel distance.

Previously, sharing with the domestic press, Mr. Tam said that he spent 500 million VND to perfect the model car. If commercialized by industrial chains, the value may be less than VND 250 million or even VND 200 million. According to calculations, the car runs 100km but only costs about 15,000 - 20,000 VND for electricity .
