According to expert Nguyen Duc To Luu and Philip Ian Thomat, in Vietnam, red pine (Taxus Wallichiana) is the only species found in Lam Dong with the remaining number of trees estimated at just over 250 trees. Red is classified as VU - the species will be endangered, while in the decree 32/2006 / ND-CP of the government, red pine is classified in group IA - strictly forbidden to exploit and use for commercial purposes.
