Diamond pythons are eaten alive and devoured large mink possum

The special moment when a diamond python hangs down from the roof and feasts on a giant possum weasel has been recorded by the photographer.

According to the Daily Mail, snake expert Stuart McKenzie was invited to catch a large python at a house in Mooloolaba, north of Brisbane, Australia on the morning of May 13.

Upon arriving, McKenzie saw the python dropping himself from the water trough and had swallowed half the weasel.

McKenzie shared photos and said that the adult long-tailed possum. ' The python is about 2 meters long and it takes almost an hour to eat the prey. It is surprising that it can still devour such large prey and eat upside down. '

A Facebook user also agreed with McKenzi: 'It's amazing that it can hang from a gutter with such a special weight in the mouth.'

Reportedly, a possum can be up to 1m long and a diamond python can be up to 3m. Diamond pythons are not harmful to humans, but they often eat rats, mink bags and sometimes family pets.
