Besides the mummy , the experts also found some bronze artifacts. Since then, experts deduce this body is related to Persia . The mummy is wrapped in a thin layer of metal and covered by a birch bark, deep in the ice.

The overall cocoon cocoon is about 1.3 m long and about 30 cm across. This copper metal layer protects the body from oxidation, separating the remains from bacteria in the tomb. In addition, thanks to the cold weather, the body will naturally dry out.

Alexander Gusev, a research center member and archaeological team leader, said: 'The body is cleverly wrapped. If this is really a mummy then the head and skull are preserved in very good condition. That could be the body of a child or a teenager '.

Using bark to cover mummies is considered a strange burial way

This is considered a rather strange way of burial, which is quite different from the usual ways of burial. The bark cocoon is currently stored at the Shemanovsky Museum , in a special refrigerator. On July 15, archaeologists will open cocoons to find the truth behind the thick bark.

Previously, archaeologists found 34 graves in this area. Five of the mummies were covered in copper and covered with a reindeer coat of fur, beavers and wolves. However, the excavation was stopped in 2002 after local people protested that it affected their ancestors' souls. If in the cocoon bark containing real mummy, this will be the first mummy found in this area since 2002.
