Discovering many precious artifacts at Phoi Tuyen and Bai Co relics

On December 4, Mr. Ho Bach Khoa, Director of the Nguyen Du Museum of Relics said that during an excavation week, archaeologists discovered many precious ancient artifacts in the archaeological relic area -Bui Call (Xuan Vien commune, Nghi Xuan district, Ha Tinh province).

Archaeologists have dug three holes at a depth of nearly 1 meter with a total area of ​​nearly 100m ² at Bai Lo site in Phoi Tuyen archaeological site and discovered many ceramic clusters and burial graves with many objects in copper. Around the tombs, archaeologists discovered small ceramic pots intact and some small pots and pots of pottery were broken .

Especially archaeologists have discovered bronze gloves dating from 2,000-2,500 years with beautiful patterns that have not been discovered in previous excavations.

Previously, at the archaeological site of Phoi Cooc - Bai Co, archaeologists have discovered many rare artifacts bearing Dong Son culture of Sa Huynh culture through the excavations.

This time, archaeologists from the Vietnam National Museum of History cooperated with the National Museum of Korea to excavate archaeological sites of Phoi Phoi-Bai Co relics to study the residence and religious practices of residents of Phoi Cooc-Bai Coi to study and compare with ancient cultures with similar age in the area.

This archeology will end on December 20.
