Drink nonfat milk, reduce cardiovascular risk

A new study published in the American Clinical Nutrition magazine states that drinking nonfat or low-fat milk may help reduce your risk of cardiovascular disease.

Researchers from many US and Norwegian universities conducted kidney function tests of more than 5,000 people aged 45-84 by monitoring daily diets and checking ACR (albumin- to-creatinine-ratio).

People who drink less milk and have low ACR have poor kidney function and high risk of cardiovascular diseases.

People who drink this milk every day will reduce their risk of impairing their kidney function by 37% compared to those who drink less or don't drink.
