Two Israeli designers invented a table capable of withstanding the weight of bricks, concrete and other materials when an earthquake struck.

But Arthur Brutter and Ido Bruno, two experts at the Bezalel Institute of Art and Design in Israel, said that many people still lost their lives after crawling under the table because normal tables tended to collapse when catching a certain amount of matter. great. Thus, Ido Bruno came up with the idea of ​​designing a table that could stand when the ceiling of the house fell because of the earthquake. The maximum amount of material that the two men's table can stand is 1000kg, reported the Science and Development Network .

Not only to protect people, earthquakes can also be used to create an entrance for the search for victims of rescue forces when an earthquake occurs.

Bruno insists his invention and Brutter is very useful for schools in the area that often shake by seismic. AD Miraz Industries, an Israeli company, has mass-produced earthquake-resistant tables for schools.

'We try to create a table that is light enough for two students to carry, cheap enough for most schools to buy. The price of an earthquake counter is about 2.5 times higher than a normal table, but their use time will be twice as large , "Bruno said.

The design team said they contacted many organizations outside Israel to discuss measures to bring the quake to developing countries.
