Effective method of treating migraine

Picture 1 of Effective method of treating migraine Swedish researchers have demonstrated that acupuncture, relaxation and exercise can dissipate migraines.

Dr Elisabeth Soderberg and colleagues at Gotenborg University have invited 90 people with migraines for 7 years under a 4-week therapy.

The volunteers were divided into 3 groups. The first group followed 30-minute acupuncture sessions per week. The second group is to learn relaxation and breathing techniques, stress control and stretching. The third group attended an exercise course with shoulder and neck muscle movements and repeated several times in combination with shoulder stretches and on-site cycling.

As a result, after 4 weeks of exercise, the " relax " group said their migraines were significantly lower than the " acupuncture " group. In addition, there are no significant differences between different therapies.

After 3 and 6 months, the study authors noted that all three groups had reduced the number of days of migraine and pain intensity.

According to the researchers, all three techniques are effective and should be coordinated if they want good results.
