Usually each can of energy drinks contains caffeine equivalent to 1 to 2 cups of coffee. With that amount of caffeine, it takes 2 to 3 days for the body to empty it. Some energy drinks may contain higher levels, if taken regularly, caffeine will be stored in the body and cause long-term effects.
Besides recommending heart patients to avoid energy drinks, Kalus also advises people not to mix energy drinks with alcohol to drink, nor to drink energy drinks after exercising, because of alcohol (is stimulants), and sports activities in itself have the effect of increasing blood pressure and heart rate, so do not use in combination with energy drinks.
