Experience avoiding pedaling wrong stations of Vietnamese drivers

The foot is always placed on the brake pedal, when you want to increase the throttle, just turn your ankle to the gas pedal, if you are proficient, there will be no mistaken phenomenon between the brake and the throttle.

  1. What to do to prevent "wrong foot brake and accelerator"?
  2. What to do when a car loses its brakes or loses control?
  3. Find out the cause of cars losing driver

With 14 years of continuous driving experience, I would like to share my knowledge and experience. In it, one-third of the time on me was driving an automatic.

Anyone who has learned and holds a driver's license knows:

  1. Vehicle number of floors: the left foot controls the clutch (clutch), the right foot controls the station and controls the brake;
  2. Automatic vehicle: no taper so the left foot does nothing but the right leg still uses the same as the floor car.

Why does the right foot control both the throttle and the brake, whether it is a manual or automatic vehicle?

Brakes - brakes are two opposing systems and only one operating system at a time (for ordinary cars). Therefore, only one leg is responsible for both tasks and is suitable to prevent any failure when both systems work together.

Confusion ga - brake. The logic of the problem is that the driver will be able to confuse the throttle and the brakes: when the throttle is needed, it is braking and it is dangerous to need to brake the accelerator.

For cars with floor numbers when they need braking, they may not be very dangerous to turn to the station. When the brakes are more dynamic, the bike will only run after the vehicle, although it may run faster than inertia at first because there is no resistance of the engine, but it will gradually slow down.

For self-driving cars , there are no taper and when it is wrong, the car only runs faster and stronger and the accident is inevitable.

To minimize the confusion of brakes and brakes and its consequences, technically the manufacturers did:

  1. Brake pedal outside (left) and inner throttle table (right) (from the driver's seat center);
  2. The brake table has a wide plate and the station table has a narrow plate;
  3. The brake table is higher than the station table (when pedaling most of the brake table, then the brake table surface is just across the platform).

Along with technology, driver skills are always required:

  1. When driving a heel, always keep in a straight position.When using the gas, turn the ankle to the right so that the foot is tilted to the gas pedal and when using the brake, turn the ankle straight to the foot into the brake.
  2. If you do not use the gas, you must shift your foot to the brake position.This is extremely important when driving.

Braking brake and throttle on auto gear?

So in what cases can the gas - brake be mistaken?

  1. Driving skills are not really proficient;
  2. The spirit of the driver is not alert (stress, fatigue, substance use .).
  3. Some unexpected situations.

When the driving skill is mastered, it almost becomes a natural reflex: when the foot rotates to the right (in the station) there will be no pedal reflexes - no sudden throttle; on the contrary, the pedal reflexes quickly and strongly when the foot rotates straight (the foot is on the brake).

If there is an unexpected situation, the foot is also reflexively reflexive (rehearsed), which will turn straight back and pedal into the brake (of course speaking in a mental state).

If everyone practices and performs the right operation right from the beginning and is driving the floor, it is not too difficult to switch to an automatic vehicle. For automatic cars, some times may be mistaken between brakes and throttle (even if the driver is proficient, completely awake and no surprises).

  1. When starting to depart (both forward and backward).Prevention: when shifting to D or R numbers, just release the brake pedal to keep the car running smoothly and safely, then turn your foot to the throttle to accelerate;
  2. Temporarily stop the car (red light, passengers get off).Prevention: immediately switch back to N (possibly P also) and the foot remains in the brake position;
  3. Forward or reverse the vehicle through obstacles (usually in the city is sidewalk).Prevention: do not try to overcome.If required to do so, move away from the sidewalk a sufficient distance and then allow the foot brake to proceed to the sidewalk in accordance with the momentum and pass (you can add a bit of gas to have the momentum and move the foot right away) brake position).

The limitation of the process of learning to drive and granting driving licenses in Vietnam is the skill proficiency criteria that are overlooked. Most only learn the skills to pass the test. So if you want to drive safely, after having a license, each individual should improve his or her skills by learning more about driving practice with the teacher and by driving.

Wish everyone to drive safely and comfortably with a passion for four wheels!
