According to Sputnik (Russia), the new study was conducted on about 14,000 people between the ages of 100 and 107. Specifically, scientists assessed the personality traits of the study participants and found that long-lived people had 19 similar personality traits - including: gratitude, enthusiasm for learning, activity, curiosity and high intelligence quotient .
The most prominent personality trait observed in centenarians was curiosity. Other personality traits such as humor, religious faith, cheerfulness and courage were also considered the second most important factors that help them live longer. According to scientists, these personality traits are the "key" to maintaining a healthy body , especially mental health. Researchers are planning to continue studying this remarkable age group.
