American scientists are testing a superfood: yogurt contains fish oil.

Omega-3 fatty acids in fish oils are good for the heart, but some people do not have enough of this acid in their daily diet. Therefore, working scientists at Virginia Tech University add omega-3 to lemon-flavored milk.

Although those who tasted the fishy taste in yogurt, 50% of them rated the new food as good and 39% said they would regularly eat fish yogurt.

GS. Susan Duncan (Virginia Tech University) said: 'The popularity of yogurt in the world with health enhancers like probiotics, minerals, vitamins, milk proteins suggests that yogurt can be a great source of omega-3 fatty acids'.

Scientists found that those who tasted did not detect low levels of fish oil in odorless yogurt. However, they found the fish taste when fish oil used in yogurt added flavor (lemon flavor .) is oxidized. If you make fish oil yogurt with a sweeter taste, you can create a potential market for yogurt, Duncan said.
