Gas concentration measuring device, alcohol vapor test
In order to contribute to the prevention of fire and explosion and to reduce traffic accidents, the group of scientists from the International Institute for Materials Science Training - ITIMS (Hanoi University of Technology) has researched, designed and manufactured Successful 2 devices: Leakage gas concentration meter and alcohol vapor concentration meter (alcohol, beer) for vehicle operators.
The general structure of the two types of devices includes 5 parts: Feed source, sensor, amplifier, comparator (or processor) and indicator set. A device that can use a power supply is a 12V battery or 220 V power supply; wide measuring range: 50-300 ppm (for alcohol vapor measuring devices) and 200-1,300 ppm (for gas); Display by LED and sound.
In particular, the gas sensitive sensors (manufactured by microelectronic technology) in the above two test devices operate on the principle of changing the conductivity (which is a change in resistance when harmful gases pass through. ), with a compact size (110 x 70 x 70 mm, weight 400 grams), high accuracy, fast display time, cost is only 20% compared to imported equipment.
The operation of the device is quite simple: after powering, turn on the power switch on the bottom side of the gauge and then perform a sequence measurement: Press the reset button - put the meter in the environment to be measured, when there is leakage rust, the machine will notify via LED signals with 3 different levels, if exceeding the allowed level (dangerous), the machine will issue a warning bell.
