According to Vivanews , when found, the animal was tied by a rope, causing many locals to suspect that fishermen tried to catch it but failed because it was too big.
The animal's body has been decomposed and stinked, so it is difficult to determine what species it is if only looking on the outside. However, three marine biologists, Scott Baker from Oregon University, Bill Perrin and Bob Brownell from the US National Fisheries Center, said it was whale meat. This fish is 16.7m long, weighs about 4.5 tons.
Researchers hope to collect samples of bone and muscle tissue or flesh of this marine creature that carries genetic analysis, because the animal is rarely found on the coast of China.
Although the stench comes from giant animals, there are many people rushing to see it.
