Going to summer swimming is prone to infectious diseases
As summer approaches, we tend to look for pools or pools to calm the heat. However, scientists recommend that you be careful when taking a dip in the water.
The reason scientists recommend that is because swimming pool water contains a lot of bacteria and parasites, although it has been reduced by chlorine.
Dr. Christopher OHL, an infectious professor at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, shared that parents should try not to give their children drinking pool water.
And if the child is suffering from any kind of gastrointestinal disease, they should be completely removed and then taken away, to prevent them from contaminating the water.
Swimming pool water is not necessarily clean when chlorinated, it can cause many diseases for swimmers.
Explaining this, public pool water is where harmful bacteria such as E. coli and parasites such as Cryptosporidium and Giardia tend to spread widely when there is not enough chlorine to remove them in the lake. swimming, or the pH of the water is too low.
Some symptoms of infection with these three bacteria are diarrhea, abdominal pain, weight loss, nausea, vomiting and dehydration.
In addition, another bacterium is a twisted bacterium that causes a serious bacterial infection that is easily acquired by direct contact with infected human (or mammal) urine.
Symptoms of twisting disease are fever, headache and muscle aches.
Mary Ostrowski, director of the Chlorine Issues of the American Chemical Trade Council, said: ' Many people think that swimming pools smell chlorine, which is clean. But the smell is Chloramines - the combination of chlorine and bacteria, urine and sweat.
Mrs. Ostrowski said: 'A clean pool has absolutely no smell at all' . Thus, it is not that swimming pool water smells of chlorine that it is completely clean and free of bacteria and dust. That is the disastrous and dangerous mistake of all of us.
