Google acquired mobile social network Zingku
In an effort to bring more services to the mobile phone network, Google has just slashed up to buy mobile social network service provider Zingku Inc.
Zingku is a company that was only founded in 2005 with the goal of making it easier for mobile phone users to share images, send invitations or conduct polls and bring businesses a mobile advertising style. new action. Currently Zingku's service has only been tested in the US market.
A special feature of Zingku's service is that it is fully operated on the platform of SMS, picture messaging and web browser built into mobile phones without having to install any other software. .
Details of the purchase and sale contract have not been disclosed. Google itself declined to comment on the information. Even the Google Operating System blog just said that Google bought some of Zingku's assets and technology.
This acquisition once again sparked rumors that Google is developing a mobile phone product of its own. Zingku's service will play an important role in allowing Google to get closer to mobile phone users - a highly anticipated advertising market in the future.
However, this is not Google's first investment in this area. In 2005, Google also acquired a location information service provider, helping to locate mobile device users within a fixed range.
