With sharp and sharp teeth like knives, a fish with a fierce face is a snakehead fish (snakehead fish, which is also called a "demon face fish", is one of the relatives of the fruit fish) - has once horrified the warm waters of Southeast Asia.

Therefore, a fisherman on a river in Lincolnshire County (England) was shocked when he snatched a snake head 2 feet long (about 65 cm).

While using live bait for herring rice at the Witham River, near North Hyleham, Mr. Andrew Alder caught a strange fish, which he thought was pike (fish), up to 0.65m long. Song is not sure, he took photos and sent them to the fishery experts. They answered that the fish he caught was an extremely fierce fish, eating other fish, called snakehead fish (one of the genera of the fruit fish). They also said that this fish is very harmful to frogs and farmed fish species, on the absolute list banned from entry into England. The fish has now been turned into a template for display.

The snake head fish mouth is full of sharp teeth and looks very scary. It is said that it was brought by a secret aquarium fisher from abroad and when he saw that it caused too much trouble for his own aquarium, he brought it to the river. Ecologists say that even if only a strange fish appears on the surface of the British territory, it is an environmental nightmare and the protection of nature.

This giant snakehead fish can cause disturbance in native fish populations and the environment, which happened in the United States in 2002.

A team of British snipers, armed with high-precision rifles have been mobilized to track and destroy any snakehead fish that cuts ashore on a large area where the fishes are angry. This can multiply.

A spokesman for the Environment Department said: 'The giant snakehead fish is not a British native fish and it is certain that the coldness of the water bodies in England will not allow them to survive for a long time.'

"However, they may still be harmful to the water and other fish, so we note that everyone in any case releases them into nature is illegal ."

Luckily, Mr. Alder discovered a potential danger that a snake head could cause, and more fortunately, not out of fear that he threw it back into the river (though most likely due to cold, it is unsuitable and will die).

"Devil face fish" is unusual

- There are 28 species of snakehead fish that can withstand very low oxygen content in the water, because their ancestors from ancient times breathe air. When preventing them from floating on the water surface, adult fish will die from lack of oxygen.

- Snakehead fish give birth in the summer, but there are also breeding species all year round.

- The female snakehead in the North often gives birth to 5 litters per year. They can live under ice.

- Entering mating season, snakehead fish live under the 'monogamy' regime during childbirth, and sometimes for life.

- Fish parents protect their children very carefully. There are two male fishes that hold the whole flock in their mouths to protect them when they see danger.

- Scientists do not know how many species migrate seasonally to snakeheads. Migration is their instinct to find nesting places (dry / wet).

- Some species of snakehead fish live in mud during the dry season. In Thailand, when droughts, people often dig mud on the bottom of the lake and catch snakehead fish as food.

- Giant snakehead fish Channamicropeltes is the most aggressive species, attacking all humans.

- Because snakeheads are carnivorous fish, it is dangerous for freshwater fish. Foods that populations of organisms affected by snakehead fish are 16 amphibian species, 115 fish species, 5 of 21 crustacean species recorded in the red book.
