Implantation in the eyes to restore vision: The first Vietnamese patient underwent surgery

In early 2006, through the scientific cooperation program between FV International Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City and Singapore National Eye Center, he was assisted by Professor - Doctor Donald Tan Tiang-Hwee (Deputy Director of Eye Center). Singapore National) treated by implant surgery in the eye (through a major surgery and 4 times minor surgery), thereby recovering the function of one eye cornea, up to now Mr. Tan Tai has served vision, can read newspapers, self-life without help.

To complete the treatment process, in August, he will go to Singapore to perform eye surgery.

This technique was first implemented by Singapore National Eye Center in June 2004. It is known that Singapore health sector has successfully implemented 17 cases so far (the patient's eyesight has recovered as well as before the accident).
